Partnering to deliver results

We work with land stewards across important ecosystems to improve Climate Resilience and increase biodiversity.

boots-on-the-ground

environmental asset development

Successful carbon projects require alignment across a number of variables — and groups of people. On the ground, we partner with frontline communities to improve economic outcomes and increase biodiversity.

Our projects help create clean air, healthy soils, productive farms, resilient communities, and are holistically designed to optimize for:

  • Carbon sequestration

  • Community benefits

  • Native species

  • Biodiversity

  • Economic opportunities

  • Sustainable Development Goals

  • Ground Breaking Reforestation in American West

After a devastating wildfire, RenewWest stepped in to help reforest 9,900 acres in California, starting the reestablishment of habitat for native species and long-term carbon sequestration.

  • Restoring mangroves in Yucatan Mexico

Impacted by roads and development, a coastal wetland and mangrove forest are in decline. RenewWest partnered with a local pioneer to conserve and restore this critical system.

  • Building New Forests on Jamaican Mining Lands

RenewWest was retained by a Jamaican mining company to assess the potential and viability of building new forests on previously mined lands in northern Jamaica.
